GIBSON GLEANINGS

June 22, 2012

If you’re a ‘beach person’, you’ve probably enjoyed the weather over the last two days.  I like going to the beach as well – as long as there are trees close by.  Access to shade is an important part of any outdoor activity for me.  Unlike my brother who could tan at the drop of a hat, I usually spend my summers looking like an overcooked lobster!  Nevertheless, summer is finally here so whatever activity you choose to participate in, I hope you enjoy it.

The month of July is almost upon us so I want to remind everyone that our annual 4th of July Craft Fair is coming up next weekend.  Hours are 10:00 – 5:00 this coming Saturday and Sunday June 30th and July 1st.  If we’re lucky the weather will be fair and you’ll have a great opportunity to stop by the center and look over some of the fine crafts on display.   Once again Karen has a wide range of crafters coming.  There will be pottery and stained glass, fine jewelry and art, woodcrafts,Adirondack chairs and much more.  We hope to see you there.

Don’t forget to check our calendar below to see what other activities and trips are taking place.  Have a wonderful week and God bless!
