GIBSON GLEANINGS

 Barbara Ray

June 29, 2012

I’m sure most of you remember the old saying, “When life hands you a lemon, make lemonade”.  I was a bit disappointed this year when I realized the 4th of July fell on a Wednesday but then it suddenly came to me.  Having a day off in the middle of the week is a bit like having two weekends in one week.  Not bad, eh?  How ever you celebrate the upcoming holiday, I hope you have a wonderful time and don’t forget to ‘make lemonade’.

Our annual fundraiser at Flatbread’s at the Eastern Slope Inn in North Conwayis coming up on Tuesday July 10th.  Buy any pizza that day between the hours of 4:00 – 9:00 and a percentage of those sales will go to theGibsonCenter.  It’s a fun time with great food so we hope you will join us.

As I mentioned earlier we will be closed this Wednesday in celebration of the July 4th holiday.  Don’t forget to check our calendar below to see what other activities and trips are taking place.  Have a wonderful week and God bless!
