The Gibson Center has developed a HUGE menu of programs for seniors of all abilities and interest levels. Much of what we do has come directly from your suggestions, so keep them coming!

Conway Historical Society:

  • Second Tuesday.
  • Home pickups.
  • Potluck on even months.

Ski Museum:

  • Wednesday April 9th.
  • After lunch
  • Price: $Free

Mamma Mia:

  • Matinee, Sat, April 28th.
  • Price: $70,
  • Board Bus at 10:30 AM

Maine Maritime Museum, WWI display:

  • Wednesday May 2nd
  • 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Price: $40 lunch on own at Beale Street BBQ
  • $40 covers transportation and admission
  • Docent -led tour, and free time to explore exhibits and the special WWI display

Lupine, Polly’s Pancakes, Harmon’s Cheese Shop, Sugar Hill Sampler:

  • Date: Wednesday June 13th & Friday June 22nd
  • 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Price: $15
  • Travel across the Kancamagus Highway, up through Franconia Notch to spend the day in Sugar Hill.
  • We will lunch at Polly’s Pancakes, then visit Harmon’s Cheese Shop, the Sugar Hill Sampler, and tour the fields of Lupin.

Dirty Dancing:

  • Date: Tuesday June 19th
  • Board Bus at 3:00 PM
  • Price: $75
  • Dinner on own at the Sebago Brewery

 Songo River Queen:

  • Wednesday July 11th
  • Price: $27
  • Board Bus at 11:30 AM after lunch at Gibson Center
  • $27 covers transportation and the boat ride, bring money for the frozen custard
  • The SONGO RIVER QUEEN II is a privately built replica of the famed Mississippi River Paddle Wheelers. The QUEEN is 93 feet long, 23 feet wide, and tips the scales at over 100 tons, enabling it to offer an exceptionally smooth ride for even the most timid of passengers. Built in 1982, the QUEEN is meticulously cleaned and maintained to the highest of standards. She is rated for up to 350 passengers and is handicapped accessible. The QUEEN has two decks including an open upper deck with an attractive red striped canopy for protection from the sun and rain, as well as a fully enclosed lower deck, and there are restrooms on board.
  • After the boat ride we will visit a real frozen custard stand. Naples Maine is know for beautiful murals

Gundalow & Wentworth Coolidge Historic Site:

  • Wednesday, July 25th.
  • Price: $47
  • Board bus 8:00 AM
  • Ride the tide on the Gundalow, a boat that did most of the trucking before railroad and trucks.
  • Afterwards visit the Wentworth Coolidge house, which has beautiful gardens

Castle in the Clouds:

  • Tuesday August 14th.
  • Board Bus at 9:00 AM
  • Price: $26
  • Money for lunch or bag lunch

Hansel & Gretel, the Ballet:

  • Friday August 17th.
  • Board Bus at 2:30 PM
  • Price: $44
  • Dinner on own at the Foreside Tavern

Sophie C Mailboat:

  • Tuesday August 21st.
  • Board Bus at 11:45 AM
  • Price: $45
  • Early lunch at Gibson Center

Two Lights and the Lobster Shack:

  • Wednesday August 29th & Tuesday September 18th.
  • 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Price: $18
  • Will stop for Ice cream

Patsy Cline:

  • Wednesday September 12th.
  • Board Bus at 9:00 AM
  • Price: $50 includes lunch and the show.
  • Two choices for menu

Celtic Thunder:

  • Thursday September 27th.
  • Board bust at 3:00 PM
  • Price: $70
  • Dinner on own at Sebago Brewery
  • Must order tickets soon

Fryeburg Fair:

  • Senior Day Tuesday October 2nd.
  • Board Bus at 9:00 AM
  • Price: Suggested donation is $5
  • Spend the day at the fair, no parking hassles
  • Will return home mid-afternoon
